My name is Jake. I am a single dad of four kids just trying to start and run a business. Together we are working to save for the future and brighten other peoples' lives in the process.
Purple Platypus, LLC was formed in December 2023 looking to sell fun, creative, and customized gifts and personal items.

Many years ago a Purple Platypus (like the one below) was passed from one student group to another across many schools in Northern Arizona to recognize their contributions to lifting the spirits of others through service, humor, and/or compassion. More than 20 years later I still have and keep a Purple Platypus to remind me to be kind to others and help where I can. I hope to pass those same goals to my children.

To keep the Purple Platypus story and legacy alive, we commit to give 10% of all profits annually to a non-profit organization serving the youth of Davis County, Utah. Additionally, we commit to being kind and compassionate people and serve others within our community.
We just launched in December of 2023, come back soon to see the fulfillment of our promises.
